In 2022, the three of us, Stephanie Torres, Stephanie Manning and Cynthia Topp got to know each other while vending at events in Bellingham. At one of those events, we gave some input to the organizers about something that wasn’t working from a vendor’s perspective, and we were asked if we wanted to organize the same event in the future. Bellingham Makers Market was born!
We hosted our first market for Shop Small Saturday at the Granary in 2022, and discovered that our combined skills, personalities, and experiences as makers and vendors position us perfectly to host markets. We now focus on organizing 5-6 events throughout the year and feel grateful to work with so many talented makers in the PNW!
